Postgraduate studies and research Affairs at the Faculty of Dar Al Uloom – Aswan University receive considerable attention, as they represent a fundamental pillar in building an informed and productive academic community. The faculty is keen to support dedicated researchers and to provide an appropriate academic environment for the completion of their postgraduate studies, in a way that contributes to community service and the advancement of the nation.
The faculty’s postgraduate programs are based on the credit hour system, which requires students to attend regularly and engage actively. This system provides greater opportunities for academic interaction and ongoing discussion. Academic staff are committed to closely supervising their students, offering the necessary academic and research support, and helping them overcome any challenges they may face—ensuring their academic and research development.
The faculty offers a range of master’s and doctoral programs specializing in Arabic language and literature, as well as Islamic sciences. The postgraduate sector at the faculty includes a number of teaching assistants and assistant lecturers enrolled in master’s and doctoral degrees, in addition to researchers from outside the university who have joined these programs. These promising researchers—at both the master’s and doctoral levels—are expected to make significant contributions that enrich the field of scientific research and serve the academic and intellectual community.
All of this takes place within a framework of fruitful and constructive cooperation between the faculty and the central postgraduate studies sector at the university, in support of advancing and developing scientific research.
