It aims to develop students\u2019 intellectual and critical thinking skills, enabling them to address intellectual and cultural issues, particularly those related to Islamic thought and authentic Arab heritage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">The department is committed to combining authenticity and modernity through the study of Islamic philosophy, theology, Sufism, and modern Islamic thought, in a way that fosters a conscious understanding of heritage and thoughtful engagement with contemporary issues.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">In light of the standards set by the Sector of Faculties of Dar Al-Uloom, and in accordance with the faculty\u2019s aspiration for academic and research excellence, the department\u2019s courses are distributed across the four academic years to cover the fields of ethics, general philosophy, creed, logic and research methodologies, Islamic philosophy, Sufism, and modern Islamic thought.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Islamic Philosophy is one of the main departments of the Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom at Aswan University.
