Aswan University Council grants the following scientific degrees:

1. General Diploma in Arabic Language and Literature.
2. General Diploma in Islamic Studies.
3. Special Diploma in Linguistic Studies (grammar, morphology, prosody – linguistics, Semitic and Oriental studies).
4. Special Diploma in Literary and Critical Studies (Literature – Rhetoric, Literary Criticism and Comparative Literature).
5. Special Diploma in Islamic Studies (Islamic law – Islamic philosophy – Islamic history).
