Vision, Mission, and Objectives of the Department of Islamic Sharia:
Excellence and leadership in preparing graduates specializing in Sharia sciences, combining authenticity and renewal, and contributing effectively to serving society at the local, regional and international levels.
The Department of Islamic sharia offers integrated academic programs in the branches of Sharia, based on an authentic scientific methodology, and taking into account the requirements of the times; through a stimulating educational and research environment that enables the student to have a conscious understanding of the Sharia texts, and contributes to graduating cadres capable of contributing to building sound religious awareness, and solving emerging Sharia problems, in light of Islamic values and the ethics of scientific research, and in accordance with quality standards and contemporary digital trends.

- Developing original scientific research in the fields of Islamic sharia, while supporting applied research that seeks to address societal issues from an Islamic legal perspective.
- Linking theoretical knowledge with practical application through integrated courses that combine exegesis, hadith, jurisprudence and its principles, and Quranic sciences, focusing on training students in deriving rulings and analyzing legal texts.
- Expanding community service through Islamic awareness programs, participation in providing jurisprudential consultations, and training courses, thereby strengthening national belonging and Islamic identity.
- Supporting Academic staff and their assistants through ongoing training and development plans that contribute to improving academic and research performance.
- Enhancing scientific and research collaboration with counterpart departments in Egyptian and Arab universities to build fruitful academic partnerships.
- Monitoring the implementation of the department’s strategic plan and evaluate it periodically to ensure alignment with the Faculty’s vision, mission, and the university’s value system.
