The Aswan University Council grants the following academic degrees:

1- Doctorate in grammar, morphology, and prosody.

2- Doctorate in Linguistics and Semitic and Oriental Studies.

3- Doctorate in Literary Studies.

4- Doctorate in rhetoric, literary criticism, and comparative literature.

5- Doctorate in Islamic Sharia.

6- Doctorate in Islamic philosophy.

7- Doctorate in Islamic history and Islamic civilization.
