The applicant must obtain a master’s degree in Arabic language and its literature or Islamic sciences from Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom, Aswan University, or from any corresponding Faculty subject to the universities organization law, with a grade of at least (good) in the general average, provided that he holds a bachelor’s in the same specialty.
Passing the requirements for each department (if any).
The maximum number for each group in which students can enroll in (ten students), and the scientific department may, if necessary, increase this number.
Students who hold non-Egyptian certificates are accepted after their certificates are approved by the Equivalency Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities, provided that the relevant departments shall study each case separately to make a decision regarding it, which consists of one of the following:
A- Unconditional acceptance.
B- Acceptance on the condition of studying some courses for a specific period not exceeding two years
C- Acceptance of the requirement to commission one or more research.
