Faculty library is one of the departments that is affiliated to the Vice Dean of Graduate Studies and Research Affairs. The Faculty library director should have an appropriate high qualification, who meets the conditions and nature of work, and someone with experience is preferred.
The library director is responsible for the following tasks:
- Technical and administrative supervision on the library’s employees.
- Participation and cooperation with library staff to develop a policy and plan to provide good library services.
- Expressing opinions for developing of holdings when providing the library.
- Supervising the check and adding all holdings and conducting the technical preparation of information containers, their classification and indexing through the use of classification plans and indexing rules followed in libraries.
- Forming the annual inventory committee for the library and accrediting the formation from Faculty Dean.
- Technical supervision of the annual inventory of the library and presenting the minutes and results of the inventory to the General Administration of Libraries for accreditation by University President.
