♦ The applicant obtained a bachelor’s degree in Arabic language, literature and Islamic sciences from Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom, Aswan University, or from any corresponding faculty or Al-Azhar University with the same specialization, with a grade of at least (very good) in the general grade; And a grade of (very good) at least in the cumulative total in the specialization branch.
♦ The department council, after the approval of Faculty council, may accept a graduate of the Faculty with a grade of (good) in the cumulative total of the specialization subject if the student fulfills the admission requirements specified by the department.
♦ The applicant obtained a special diploma in the field of specialization from Faculty of Dar Al-Ulum, Aswan University, or a corresponding faculty, with a grade of at least “good” in the credit hours system, provided that the bachelor’s degree is in the same specialization.
♦ Passing the conditions for each section (if any) .
♦ The student is assigned to prepare a research plan to be discussed in the department council to indicate its approval or not.
♦ The minimum for each group in which students register is (five students) , and not more than (ten students) .
♦ English Level Determination Certificate from one of the centers recognized by the Egyptian universities according to the degree determined by Faculty Council.
♦ Students with non-Egyptian certificates are accepted after equivalence of their certificates from the Equivalency Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities, provided that the concerned departments study each case separately to take a decision regarding it, which is represented in one of the following:
- a) Unconditional acceptance.
- b) Acceptance, provided that some courses are studied for a specific period not exceeding two years.
- C) Acceptance on the condition that one or more research assignments.
