Faculty of Dar Al Uloom witnessed a seminar entitled “Successful Pressman Skills” by Dr. Heba Nasr Allah Hassan, a lecturer at the Faculty of Arts, on Wednesday 3/4/2019 in attendance of  number of students.

Students Groups week competition Launched at Aswan University which includes many activities and that under patronage of Prof/ Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed _Aswan University President

Dr. Hanan Abdel Moneim Awad, Vice President of Aswan University for Education and Student Affairs_ declared that the number of students groups participating in this week is 26 groups from different faculties.

She explained that the week of student groups includes many sports and social and scientific competitions, including a Sports Marathon, workshops for preparing wallcharts and paintings, a competition of Tv reporter and periodic information, a cultural information tournament, the best singing voice and religious chanting competition, Football quintet, table tennis and rope-tightening competitions for students and a simulation model for the youth forum under the supervision of Mr. Hatim Yousry – Director General of Student Welfare at the University.

Prof/ Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed _Aswan University President _ declared that Aswan University classified among the best 300 university on worldwide according to British Times Ranking in terms of achieving the goals of sustainable development, explaining that this ranking is one of the strongest of international rankings, and including Aswan university in this ranking refers to the progress in implementing the higher education plan inside university according to the directives of Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar_ Minister of Higher Education.

He pointed out that the inclusion of Aswan University in this ranking reflects the outstanding efforts made by university in cooperation with the committee of “Egyptian Universities Support to Improve the International Ranking” Which formed by higher Education to present support for universities in this field.

Prof/ Ahmed Ghallab Mohammed _Aswan University President_ and Prof/ Youhansen Eid_ Head of the National authority for Education Quality_ assigned a cooperation Protocol for opening the first branch of authority on level of Upper Egypt and that at university headquarter in Aswan Al-gadeda.

Dr. Ghallab declared that the new branch of the authority will serve the pre-university Education which include schools and  Various Institutes of Al-Azhar, its opening is a great achievement for Aswan University that it serve the education process in All Upper Egypt not only Aswan governorate. And this branch considers the seventh conference of the National authority for Educational Quality Assurance on level of the republic, as it is the second branch on level of Upper Egypt after Assiut branch, so Aswan University will relives travel hardship to teachers in Aswan and the nearby governorates.    

Dr. Youhansen confirmed that the eagerness of the authority on opening new branches in all the governorates especially in upper Egypt and that for upgrading Education Quality and Accreditation of educational institutions according to the national standards which are transparent with the international standards.

Prof/ Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed _confirmed that Aswan University is looking for hosting the next session of  Arab Universities unions conference in frame in light of the availability of all the necessary elements to host this international conference in Aswan.

And that declaration was during his participation in fifty-second session of the Arab Universities Union Conference, which was hosted by Helwan University in Sharm El-Sheikh for two days under the patronage of Dr. Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education.

Prof. Ghalab explained that the great success achieved by the Arab African Youth Forum under the patronage and attendance of President. Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi_ President of Arab Republic of Egypt, emphasized the ability of Aswan Governorate and its university to host all international scientific conferences and their full readiness for the tourism of scientific conferences.
