Prof/ Ahmed Ghallab Mohammed _ Aswan University President_ signed a cooperation protocol with Tokyo University in Japan to support the Scientific cooperation between the two universities, and that through his current visit to Japan from 9 – 15/10/2018.

In attendance of a delegation of Aswan University includes Dr/ Atef Ibrahim _Faculty of Science dean, Dr/ Magdi Abdel-Radi _Vice dean and a group of Tokyo University Leaders.

Prof/ Ghallab Declared that the agreement aims at increasing cooperation between scientific research, students’ exchange and scientific experience between Aswan and Tokyo universities in frame of Partnership between Universities to create distinct educational Program.

The supreme council of Universities headed by Prof/ Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar _ Minister of Higher Education and Scientific research discussed the necessary preparations to perform the competition of the best Egyptian University preparing to receive the students of the new academic year 2018/2019 according to the instructions of president Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi_ President of Arab Republic of Egypt.

The supreme council of Universities determined the standards of the competition as the preparations of (Amphitheaters- study Halls- Libraries- Laboratories- Workshops- Training Places) for receiving university students.  

For providing a suitable atmosphere to students for study and training, and the Aesthetic appearance of the university which includes “the green spaces- putting a system for entering and leaving”  

And the ability of University to create a better environment for integrating disability challenge students in addition to the academic level and the ability of the university to provide personal resources to cover its expenses and improving all the aspects of Educational, research and training processes. The higher education Minister urged for participating students in implementing Aesthetic appearance for the university and its cleanliness and achieving the required discipline. Google Company in cooperation with Information Technology Institute (ITI) announces holding a Workshop in Faculty of Engineering and that on Friday 14^th September 2018,

Aswan University students, Graduates, researchers and Small projects Owners in Information Technology are invented to attend the workshop.

In frame of the scientific research and in believing of the importance of citation in the scientific theses, Aswan University in cooperation with Information center and Communications network in the university announces the steps of citation checkup of scientific research and according to what approved by Supreme council of graduate studies and research, taking into account the citation rate 25% as a maximum in the scientific subject so the following steps should be followed:

• Presenting an accredited request from Faculty dean to Information Center and communication network in Aswan University, indicating the number of researches to be examined
• Paying the checkup fees which its value 100 pounds for one research in Information center and communication Network in University Headquarter in Sahary( University administration Building _Second Floor)
• The researches should be sent as (PDF) with a copy of payment stub and the accredited request from faculty dean to E-mail of the Digital Library (library@aswu.edu.eg)
• The center will send the report to the digital library of the supreme council of Universities which sends it to the scientific committee.  

Prof/ Abdel-Radi Abdel-Mohsen_ Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom dean _Cairo University received Prof/ Farid Abdel-Zaher_ Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom dean_ Aswan University and Faculty demonstrators in his office yesterday, as the demonstrators want to register in graduate studies and completing their study in the faculty that Ms / Asmaa Youssef Ahmed Mahmoud registered in Rhetoric and literary criticism and Comparative Literature department, Mr/ Salah Mohammed Ahmed Mohammed in Linguistics Semite and Eastern Studies Department, Ms/ Mona Hamd-Alla Soliman in Literary and critical studies Department and Ms/ Shimaa Mostafa Saad El-Din in Grammar and Prosody Department.

The General Administration for medical affairs in the university announces the dates of the medical examination for faculties and the medical examination places for new students for the academic year 2018/2019, the medical examination of faculty of Dar Al-Uloom in Aswan Al-Gadeda will be on Saturday 8/9/2018.

In frame of cooperation between the Armed forces and the higher Education Ministry represented by our university, the special military course No (4) for the academic year 2017/2018 has been postponed to be from 8/92018 to 21/9/2018 at 8:00 am to 4:00 pm in university headquarter at Sahary( El-Salam Amphitheatre) and that in believing that youth are the hope for bright future which requires developing the spirit of patriotism and loyalty by holding these courses.
