The Military Training Department announces the opening of registration for the upcoming Military Training Course for males in all academic years. This is the final course for graduating classes, number (59), and will be held on August 30, 2025, at the Faculty of Engineering. Registration is available online only via the link below. The course will run from August 30, 2025, to September 11, 2025.

Students accepted through online registration must be present at the Faculty of Engineering in the Abu Rish area at 8:00 AM on Saturday, August 30, 2025, to receive instructions for completing the course.

Opening of Applications for the Second Phase of the Cybersecurity Superheroes Academy for Students

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the National Telecommunications Institute (NTI) announces the opening of applications for the second phase of the Cybersecurity Superheroes Academy for youth. This program is being held in cooperation with the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) and the National Center for Computer and Network Emergency Preparedness (EG-CERT), in partnership with MCS, and sponsored by Palo Alto Networks, Google Cloud Security, f5, and Trellix. The program is designed for university and institute students aged 17 to 21 from all governorates of Egypt, for both specialists and non-specialists. The program is completely free and includes the following:

Network basics and network security.

Types of cyber threats, firewalls, and VPNs.

Introduction to operating system security.

An overview of ethical hacking and tools (Cisco Packet Tracer, VirtualBox/VMware, Wireshark, Metasploit, and others).

Practical training on freelancing in: (Cyberspace — How to Create Your Profile — How to Offer Your Services — and How to Start a Career in Technology or Freelancing). Whether you are a student of engineering, media, business administration, law, or medicine, this course is your true introduction to the world of cybersecurity and digital freelancing.

Requirements for Admission:

Basic knowledge of IT.

A laptop for the trainee (preferably Intel i5/i7 or Ryzen 5+ and at least 8 GB of RAM, Windows 10 or Ubuntu 20.04).

The program provides technical training for the trainee in addition to freelancing skills for a month, followed by a certificate accredited by the National Telecommunications Institute (NTI). Targeting 2,000 trainees, this initiative represents the largest national initiative to prepare a new generation aware of the concepts of digital security and the defense of data and information in the digital world.

Postgraduate Exams Begin at the Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom, Aswan University

Under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Abu El-Sheikh, Dean of the Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom, Aswan University, and Prof. Magdy Ibrahim, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, postgraduate exams for the academic year2024/2025  commenced on Sunday morning, July 6, 2025. These exams cover Master’s and Doctoral programs.

Since the start of the exams, the faculty has witnessed an atmosphere of discipline and organization, reflecting the administration’s commitment to providing a calm and conducive environment that enables students to perform their best.

prof. Mohamed Abu El-Sheikh, accompanied by Prof. Magdy Ibrahim, conducted an inspection tour of the exam halls. Together, they monitored the examination process and ensured its smooth operation in accordance with university regulations. They commended the students’ commitment and the role of faculty members and staff in organizing the exams and facilitating their administration.

Military Education Department announces the opening of registration for the upcoming Military Education Course for males of all academic levels, with the last course for final year students, No. (57), scheduled for August 2, 2025, at the Faculty of Engineering. Start of postgraduate exams at Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom, Aswan University

Launch of the Digital Portal for Aswan University students

Under the patronage of Prof. Loai Saad El-Din Nasrat, President of the University, and supervised by Prof. Ashraf Imam Abdel-Rady, Vice President for Community Service and Environment Affairs, the Information Center at Aswan University has activated the Digital Student Portal.

In a statement, the University President affirmed that the launch of the portal is part of the university’s plan for digital transformation.

Dr. Mohamed Eid, Director of the Information Center, pointed out that the portal represents a step towards the university’s progress towards digital transformation and the way to provide all digital services to university students, including the announcement of student results in Various faculties starting from the first semester of the academic year 2024/2025.

Dr. Adel Fathy, Director of the Administrative Information Systems Unit at the Information Center, announced that the student portal has been activated through the excellent work of the Administrative Information Systems team. “Best Student Activity” Competition

The General Administration of Student Care at Aswan University announces the “Best Student Activity” competition and opening registration for the academic year 2024/2025, in accordance with the initiative of President of the Republic to build the human being and human development within (Bedaya) initiative, at the level of the university’s faculties for individual and group activities, the registration deadline is 13/12/2024.
