Supreme Council of Universities announces the Date for the Supplementary Subject Exams

The Supreme Council of Universities has announced the schedule for holding the supplementary exams, which will take place during the first week of the following months —January, April, August, and November — for the Academic year 2025/2026.

The student (foreign/Egyptian) must be enrolled in one of the Egyptian universities (public, private, or national) or higher institutes affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education, and some entities are subject to the direct supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education.

The students targeted to take these tests are students with Arab or other certificates who are missing some subjects that they did not take during secondary school, and which are required of them before completing university, such as:

* Arabic Language – Religious Education – National Education – Biology

Some foreign languages (French – Italian – German – English)

These exams are at the general secondary level, and the study materials will be available on the official website of the Supreme Council of Universities at the following link:

* Copy of the national ID card or passport

* Copy of the high school certificate obtained by the student

Youth Green Reels: A National Youth Competition

The Our Earth Climate Foundation for Sustainable Development, affiliated with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, announces a national youth competition entitled “Youth Green Reels.” Led by young people aged 18 to 25, the competition aims to empower them to express their environmental ideas and solutions for addressing climate change through the production of short 90-second videos (reels). The Faculty of Dar Al-Ulum, Aswan University, announces the required documents for new students nominated for admission to the Faculty for the academic year 2025/2026:

Medical Examination Dates for New Students for the Academic Year 2025/2026

The Faculty of Dar Al-Ulum at Aswan University announces the dates for medical examinations for new students for the academic year 2025/2026. The examinations will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, in New Aswan.

Students applying for the examination must bring their original national ID card and the medical examination form, which can be obtained from the Faculty’s Student Affairs Office.

Aswan University Signs Scientific Cooperation Protocol with Nur Mubarak University in Kazakhstan

Aswan University signed an academic cooperation protocol with Nur Mubarak University of Islamic Culture in Almaty, Kazakhstan, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Religious Endowments. This cooperation comes within the framework of the university’s policy aimed at international openness and strengthening partnerships with prestigious universities in the Islamic world, thus supporting Egypt’s academic standing and enhancing its civilizational mission in spreading the values ​​of moderation and cultural and scientific cooperation. The protocol was signed in the presence of Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Religious Endowments, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.

The protocol was signed by Professor Dr. Loai Saad El-Din Nusrat, President of Aswan University, and Professor Dr. Ahmed Hussein Mohamed, President of Nur Mubarak University. It was decided to appoint Professor Dr. Mohamed Abu El-Sheikh, Dean of the Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom at Aswan University, as the coordinator of academic cooperation, and his counterpart at Nur Mubarak University, Professor Dr. Mohamed El-Wardani, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Studies.

Prof. Loai Saad El-Din indicated that this protocol aims to strengthen academic and cultural cooperation between the two sides through the exchange of faculty members and students, the organization of joint scientific and research activities, the offering of dual graduate programs, and the holding of lectures, workshops, and scientific seminars, both in person and online.

The agreement also includes clear implementation mechanisms encompassing academic exchange, the organization of summer schools, joint supervision of master’s and doctoral theses, and the provision of academic and logistical support to ensure the success of joint programs.

This cooperation represents a significant step towards academic integration between scientific and religious institutions in the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of Kazakhstan, and reflects the Ministry of Religious Endowments’ commitment to supporting efforts to foster intellectual exchange with Central Asian countries.
