Important Instructions to Ensure the Quality of the Examination Process for the Academic Year 2025/2026

The Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom, Aswan University, is preparing for the first-semester examinations for the academic year 2025/2026. In light of the directives of Prof. Abdel-Hafiz Mostafa Abdel-Hadi, Dean of the Faculty, on implementing precautionary measures and necessary procedures to safeguard the health of all members of the educational system. This includes stressing that students are not allowed to enter examination halls with mobile phones, allocating fully equipped medical teams to handle any emergency cases that may occur during examinations, and completing all logistical arrangements related to organizing the exams—starting from reviewing and preparing examination halls, control procedures, and setting examination schedules.

Accordingly, there are several important instructions that students must be aware of to ensure the quality of the examination process:

* Students are not permitted to sit for the examination without presenting proof of identity (university ID card or national ID card).

* Students must arrive at the examination venue at least half an hour before the exam start time.

* Students are not allowed to leave the examination hall until half of the allotted time has passed.

* It is strictly prohibited to bring any books, notes, or papers related to the examination subject into the examination halls.

* It is strictly forbidden to bring mobile phones or any other smart communication devices into the examination halls.

* Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all examination halls.

* Students must refrain from tampering with or tearing the answer sheet and must submit it upon completing the exam within the time specified by the invigilators.

Holding a Scientific Seminar at the Postgraduate Studies Sector to Discuss Research Plans in Preparation for Master’s Registration

On the morning of Sunday, 21/12/2025, a scientific seminar was held to discuss the research plans submitted by the following researchers, as a preliminary step toward registration for the Master’s degree:

Researcher: Samah Mahran Saeed – Department of Islamic History.

Researcher: Hassan Mostafa Al-Rashidi – Department of Islamic Philosophy.

Researcher: Mostafa Khaled Hussein – Department of Islamic Philosophy.

The seminar was attended by Prof. Abdel Hafiz Mostafa Abdel Hadi, Dean of the Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom, and Prof. Magdy Ibrahim, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research. They offered their scholarly remarks and sound guidance, which enriched the discussion and helped direct the research toward greater precision and academic depth.

The session was also attended by a distinguished group of Academic staff, teaching assistants, and researchers from Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom, adding significant academic richness and fostering fruitful intellectual interaction.

Arab Conference on Information, Communication, and Space Technology (AICST)

The Supreme Council of Universities announces the Arab Conference on Information, Communication, and Space Technology (AICST) 2026, organized by the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate in cooperation with the Military Technical College and under the Federation of Arab Engineers. The conference is scheduled to be held in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt, for the first time after seven successful editions hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain. It will take place from April 14 to 16, 2026, under the theme Artificial Intelligence, Information and Communication Technology, and Space.” The deadline for submitting research papers is January 30, 2026.

This conference is considered a leading Arab scientific and professional platform that brings together experts, researchers, academics, and engineers to exchange knowledge and experiences and discuss the latest developments in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, cybersecurity, advanced communications, and space engineering.

Military Education Administration announces the opening of registration for the National Education Course (Female)

The Military Education Administration announces the opening of registration for the National Education Course (Female) No. (7), which is scheduled to be held from 6/12/2025 to 18/12/2025 at Faculty of Engineering- Abu El-Rish. Please note that registration will be online only.

It is strictly forbidden for any students to attend on the first day of the course without successfully completing the Electronic registration process; no names will be added on the first day under any circumstances

Students should be attended at 8:00 am on Saturday Corresponding to 6/12/2025, to receive instructions for completing the course, each student must bring two personal photos.   

The National Education program targets first-year, second-year, and preparatory-year female students only.

Supreme Council of Universities’ vision for addressing the phenomenon of street children through universities

Supreme Council of Universities (General Administration for Education and Student Affairs) has issued an awareness video to address the phenomenon of street children through universities.

The Council also urged students to produce videos to confront this issue, in cooperation between the Education and Student Affairs Sector and the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the university.

PhD Dissertation Defense of Researcher Ahmed Gamal Mohamed SadiK

Today, corresponding to Thursday, November 6, 2025, the PhD dissertation of researcher Ahmed Gamal Mohamed SadiK was discussed at the Postgraduate Studies Sector, Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom, entitled:

 “The Impact of Sufism on Fatwas disipline: An Analytical Study of the Egyptian Dar al-Ifta Encyclopedia.”

The defense took place in the Seminar Hall, Faculty of Law, where the researcher was awarded First Class Honors.

Applications for State Incentive Awards in Arts, Literature, Social Sciences, and Economics for 2026 is availiable now

The Supreme Council of Culture announces the opening of applications for the 2026 State Incentive Awards in Arts, Literature, Social Sciences, Economics, and Law. Applications will be accepted from October 1st to December 31st, 2025. Applicants must meet the following requirements:

– Be a citizen of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

– Submit four copies of their work (submitted works will not be returned), a printed CV (no more than two pages), a copy of their national ID card, and a recent photograph. A bank statement confirming the applicant’s bank account number is also required. All submitted materials must be uploaded to a CD.

– Those who have previously received a State Incentive Award in any category are not eligible to apply.

– Applicants must be under 40 years of age on October 1st of the year the award is announced. – If the submitted work is in one of the branches of art, the applicant must provide an official statement from the exhibiting or executing entity confirming the date of the production’s first exhibition or performance, along with detailed information about the work. The submission of the work itself will be postponed until requested by the relevant committee.

– The work must have been previously published, exhibited, or performed, and no more than three years should have passed since its first publication or performance up to the date of this announcement. Published books must include a deposit number. For artistic and architectural works, an official statement from the exhibiting or executing entity must be submitted, specifying the date of the first publication, performance, or exhibition.

– The work must not have been previously submitted for a State Award, unless it includes new additions deemed valuable by the committee.

– The work must not have been previously submitted as a thesis for an academic degree or other award. The applicant must sign a declaration to this effect with their application. – For academic research, a plagiarism report must be submitted, certified by the Supreme Council of Universities or a public university, confirming that the work has undergone plagiarism detection using the Supreme Council of Universities’ approved plagiarism detection program.

– If the applicant authorizes another person to submit the work, this authorization must be notarized by the relevant authority.

– For joint research, a statement of participation percentages signed by the participants must be submitted.

– Applicants submitting joint research must provide proof of the other participants’ consent to their individual submission for the award.

– Submit the work to the Supreme Council of Culture (General Administration of Awards and Competitions), 1 Al-Gabalaya Street, Opera, Al-Gezira, Cairo.

Dar Al-Uloom Faculty, Aswan University Opens Online Platform

Dar Al-Uloom Faculty, Aswan University, announces the opening of its online platform for students. All students are requested to promptly visit the Student Affairs office to pay their tuition fees and receive their username and password for the platform. Fees can be paid by Visa at the faculty treasury.
